Hand Cream From Heaven

Ever since I was little I've struggled with super dry hands. They would crack, bleed, and turn beet red every winter. I've tried many different moisturizers and some worked, but I never really found "the lotion." Haha, anyways, I've tried a ton and I was a fan of Curel and Vaseline for a while.

In the fall, my hands were starting to get red and I was like "here we go again!" But, I got some advise:

- Scented hand cream is no good.
- Vaseline actually drys your hands out.

Now, I don't know if those facts are true, but since I've gotten away from those things, my hands have been considerably better. After a recommendation, I purchased Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for dry, sensitive skin. As you probably guessed from the title, it was a miracle worker! Let me just tell you, it totally saved me during this last winter!

Other lotions and creams have moisturized my hands, but never really helped with the redness problem. Cetaphil truly worked and was long-lasting.

If you have been struggling with dry skin and haven't tried Cetaphil yet, I strongly suggest you give it a try!

It can be found at any drugstore, but I've found that Target has it for the cheapest price. It's around $12-15 depending on where you purchase it. Yes, that is expensive, but it lasts for so long. One tub literally lasted me all winter.

Thanks for reading! :)

  1. I have pretty dry skin too. Sometimes they crack when the weather gets particularly cold, but it's never been that bad. Mostly, it's my fault for not moisturizng enough. I'm just too lazy.
I didn't know Vaseline dries skin out. I'm a big fan of the Vaseline lotions. They're so light and easy to spread. I don't like heavier lotions or thick creams. They're also very inexpensive. I don't like to spend a lot of money on lotions, because I always forgot to use it. I'm a big neglecter...it's terrible.
