Hand Cream From Heaven

Ever since I was little I've struggled with super dry hands. They would crack, bleed, and turn beet red every winter. I've tried many different moisturizers and some worked, but I never really found "the lotion." Haha, anyways, I've tried a ton and I was a fan of Curel and Vaseline for a while.

In the fall, my hands were starting to get red and I was like "here we go again!" But, I got some advise:

- Scented hand cream is no good.
- Vaseline actually drys your hands out.

Now, I don't know if those facts are true, but since I've gotten away from those things, my hands have been considerably better. After a recommendation, I purchased Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for dry, sensitive skin. As you probably guessed from the title, it was a miracle worker! Let me just tell you, it totally saved me during this last winter!

Other lotions and creams have moisturized my hands, but never really helped with the redness problem. Cetaphil truly worked and was long-lasting.

If you have been struggling with dry skin and haven't tried Cetaphil yet, I strongly suggest you give it a try!

It can be found at any drugstore, but I've found that Target has it for the cheapest price. It's around $12-15 depending on where you purchase it. Yes, that is expensive, but it lasts for so long. One tub literally lasted me all winter.

Thanks for reading! :)

Cheaper Version of Sperry's

I found a awesome deal this week! I was shopping at kohl's and found a super cute pair of leopard print boat shoes! They were $60 on sale for $40. They looked almost identical to Sperry's! They looked like such good quality, too!

SCORE!

I sadly, did not buy them, but I plan on going back to get them before the sale ends. I'm thinking they will go great with light wash skinny jeans... hahaha!

What do you guys think? Is the cheaper price worth it?

Deodorant Chat?!

So, I thought I would make a post about deodorant. I'm just going to tell ya guys about what I use now, what I've used in the past, and what works good for me!

So, in the past I have tried out a few different brands. My very first deodorant was "Teen" by Secret. The deodorant smelled pretty good and got the job done, but it wasn't anything to brag about.

When I got older I started to branch out a tad. I started using Secret, Dove, Degree, etc. I wasn't too big of a fan of Degree; it was nothing special. The same went for dove. Right now, I'm using Secret. Secret has always been my favorite and always has the best scents!

I've gone through different phases.. sometimes I go for a gel deodorant and sometimes a solid deodorant. Right now, I'm in a gel phase. I just think it goes on smoother and works better. Plus, ya don't get the yucky deodorant build up under your arm!

I just bought Secret Outlast Deodorant in Completely Clean, today. I've heard great things about it. So far, it works great! It smells so darn good! It claims to last up to 48 hours... I'll have to wait longer to see how that goes.

I know this is a silly post, but it's kinda somewhat practical since everyone uses deodorant. Haha. So, what are your favorite deodorants? Any tips or tricks? Please share in the comments!

My Favorite Lip Moisturizer!

I hate the feeling of dry lips (I think that goes for everyone)! So, I am always trying out new lip products. Some work well, but I always find that Vaseline works the best! It is very long lasting and totally repairs and maintains your lips! Plus, it's cheap and usually lasts for a long time! My favorite is the Vaseline with cocoa butter. It doesn't have that yucky Vaseline smell!

You can use Vaseline for so many purposes and I plan on dedicating a whole other blog post to Vaseline!

P.s. Sorry I haven't posted in so long! I've been on vacation! Had loads of fun, but I'm happy to be back!

I Cleaned?!

Okay, so I have one drawer to store all my makeup in and it was a disaster. In the mornings, I'm always digging through it in a rush. My makeup was getting all dirty and yucky. So, I realized it was time! Haha, so I began to organize!

I used my old Birchbox boxes to separate my makeup and lined the bottom of the drawer with hot pink tissue paper! I could only fit 3 boxes, so I separated my makeup by face, eye, and lip makeup. I used the rest of the drawer for random beauty items.

It's not crazy organized, but it's for sure better! It's even more fun to put on my makeup now!
